One of the beautiful teachings of Tantra is that intimacy begins with the relationship we have with ourselves.
Many people spend time seeking connection with others while rarely taking time to slow down and truly listen to their own bodies.
Tantric self-massage offers a simple way to reconnect.
Rather than approaching the body mechanically or automatically, this practice invites us to cultivate awareness, presence and curiosity.
The intention is not performance.
The intention is connection.
Choose a moment when you can be fully present.
Create a comfortable environment.
Dim the lights.
Play music that helps you relax.
Take a few slow breaths.
Then begin exploring your body with attention and kindness.
Allow yourself to notice sensations, emotions and subtle changes in your energy.
Many practitioners discover that slowing down transforms the experience completely.
Breath becomes deeper.
Awareness becomes clearer.
The body begins to reveal layers of sensation that are often overlooked in everyday life.
In Tantra, pleasure is not viewed as something separate from consciousness.
It can become a doorway into greater presence, self-knowledge and embodiment.
The invitation is simple:
Slow down.
Breathe.
Listen.
Allow yourself to experience your body with greater awareness.
At Men’s Hearts, we explore these themes through practices inspired by Tantra and French Neo-Tantra, creating spaces where gay and queer men can cultivate deeper intimacy with themselves and with others.
All Men’s Hearts retreats are open to international participants and are facilitated in both French and English, with translation available whenever needed.
If you would like to deepen your connection with your body, your emotions and your capacity for presence, we warmly invite you to discover our upcoming retreats.
Tantrically,
